Yankees Area Code Games Roster
The Yankees have unveiled their 2016 team to represent the Northeast region at the Area Code Baseball Games in Long Beach, Calif. on Aug. 6-10. Standouts from last year’s Yankees roster included first-round picks Jason Groome (Red Sox) and Alex Kirilloff (Twins), as well as other strong prospects in Nolan Jones (Indians), Max Kranick (Pirates) and Matt Cleveland (Mets).
This year’s Yankees roster has athletic outfield prospects in Quentin Holmes and Leugim Castillo, as well as promising Canadian prospects Adam Hall and Cooper Davis. This year’s Yankees don’t have quite the same star power as last year’s squad, but there is some solid depth and plenty of players who could prove to be top prospects with a strong showing in Long Beach.
