Where The Top 100 Prospects Are On 2017 MLB Opening Day
On Major League Baseball’s 2017 Opening Day, 12 Top 100 Prospects began the season on MLB rosters, led by No. 1 prospect Andrew Benintendi, who homered in Boston’s opener.
Back in 2006, 22 Top 100 Prospects opened the season on major league rosters, but the 12 Top 100 Prospects on Opening Day rosters is right in line with recent history. Last year and in 2010, just 11 Top 100 Prospects began the season in the big leagues.
