Seung Hwan Oh Is Magic

Cardinals‘ closer Seung Hwan Oh is called the “Final Boss” because of his prowess on the mound as a lights-out reliever.

But it looks like he also has a very, very specific magical power: the (universally desirable) ability to transform into a bottle of black ginseng tea after being licked by a dog:

We’re not sure how this talent will help him on the mound, but if a dog gets loose on the field, he’s ready to provide refreshment for his teammates.

Jokes aside, Oh put up excellent numbers with the Cardinals last year in his first season in majors after a decade in the Korean Baseball Organization and Nippon Professional Baseball, going 6-3, 1.92 with 19 saves.

Looking forward to 2017, Oh has already been named the closer by Cardinals manager Mike Matheny, so expect those save numbers to go way up.
