BUIES CREEK, N.C.—Isan Diaz, the Brewers’ No. 5 prospect, hit his ninth home run of the season on Wednesday against Buies Creek. He led the Midwest League in longballs in 2016, and is tied for fourth place in the Carolina League this season. Overall, Diaz is hitting .241/.326/.440.

The former Diamondbacks prospect—who was traded to Milwaukee in the deal that sent shortstop Jean Segura to Arizona—is also taking time after every game to sign autographs for fans at Five County Stadium.
