Mets Media Relations Guru Shannon Forde Dies
Longtime Mets media relations director Shannon Forde died on Friday after a long battle with the breast cancer she was diagnosed with in 2012. She was 44 years old and is survived by her husband and two children.
Shortly after the news was announced, the baseball world, from New York and throughout the league reacted with near uniform feelings of grief.
