Rookie of the Year Kris Bryant went back to college ball—for a day. Conspiring with the coach at Mesa (Ariz.) CC, the two tricked the Thunderbirds into believing he was a star transfer.

Bryant used the alias “Roy Nabryt”—Roy for Rookie of the Year, and they took Nabryt from Bryant—and the players were stunned as Bryant began launching balls out of the park.
