Job Opening: Baseball America Editor

Baseball America is looking for a detail-oriented editor to join our team. If you love baseball, embrace the challenge of helping a writer improve a story and enjoy preventing errors from being published, you could be a great fit for Baseball America.

Everyone on the editorial team at Baseball America does some writing and reporting, but the primary focus of this position is to edit stories that Baseball America publishes both in print and online. That requires solid organizational and time management skills as well as the knack of knowing what is news and what is not. This editor will also take on a large role in producing Baseball America books.

The ideal candidate will have experience editing writers and has a solid understanding of AP style. Baseball knowledge is a must. We need an editor who doesn’t need to look up who was the No. 1 pick in the 2019 draft.

If the idea of talking, thinking, writing and editing baseball year-round sounds appealing to you, you may be the person we are looking to hire. Email your resume and a cover letter to jobs@baseballamerica.com.
