Francisco Lindor Creates Gold Glove Pack Of Gear
Gold Glove shortstop Francisco Lindor has turned his on-field success into a lifestyle moment, debuting his custom Gold Glove Pack of gear at Cleveland’s Xhibition lifestyle store in June.
During the public event, fans met with the Indians’ All-Star as he showed off his two pairs of limited edition New Balance sneakers, a custom Rawlings-Lindor game model glove, custom 24K gold pins, a Lindor jersey pad and a Pepsi glass bottle. The sneakers are available for purchase online at Xhibition.
Lindor said the collaboration with Pepsi, New Balance and Rawlings all have him excited. “The kits are a combination of some of my favorite things,” he said, “a baseball glove, a Pepsi and my sneakers. I think it’s a cool project that shows my commitment to the fans and having fun. I’m happy to be able to share it.”
New Balance last year debuted customization of its 3000v3 baseball cleat, all done in the company’s Massachusetts factory alongside a handful of sneaker models, such as the ones Lindor customized for the Xhibition release.
Pepsi spokesperson Melissa Duhaime aid they want to be part of a fresh, creative endeavor that connects Lindor to his fans.
