EvoShield Adds Customization To Guards
EvoShield just got a whole lot more colorful. The brand added customization to its elbow and leg guards, allowing customers the opportunity to choose between 11 color choices for the guard base, binding and accents and seven color options for the guard and straps.
“Customization capabilities for the EvoShield brand has been something we have talked about for a long time,” says Tom Bolle, EvoShield brand manager. “With the implementation of customization on our website, we are giving the opportunity for all of our customers to buy something that they are seeing on television. In the era where personalization of products is paramount, we saw this as the perfect avenue to connect to our customers on a personal level.”
EvoShield used the start of this year’s Spring Training to personalize straps for professional players and make guards for each team in team colors. This was the first entry into producing guards not available at retail. By adding the ability to create a guard completely made for and by a customer, along with straps that include personal touches, Bolle calls the addition a “monumental step for our brand.”
The online EvoShield Custom Builder allows customers to change a range of aspects of the guard, choosing base color, binding color, accent colors and logo colors. They can personalize the number of straps with each guard and select between the three different sizes of elbow guards and seven different designs for leg guards.
The personalized strap options can include a player name, number, MLB team logo and a variety of symbols. Players can customize one or two straps per guard.
EvoShield expects delivery time for the customized product to range from four to six weeks.
