At the close of the regular season, the Dodgers and Diamondbacks had the best records in the Arizona Complex League. It was only fitting, then, that the two teams would face each other for the title.
The top-seeded Dodgers took game one of the best-of-three series behind a sterling pitching effort led by righty Hyun-Seok Jang. A night later, they finished the job, defeating the D-backs 7-6 on Monday to complete a postseason sweep and take home the ACL crown.
Four Dodgers had multiple hits, including top prospects Joendry Vargas and Eduardo Quintero. Vargas and Mairoshendrick Martinus each homered, as well.
