Nashua Silver Knights of the NECBL

Who Is Your Favorite MLB Broadcaster Of All Time?
I loved listening to Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy growing up at Red Sox fan.
Where Is Your Favorite Road City?
I didn’t get to go on every road trip and didn’t get to explore a lot. However, I did explore wineries outside Stockton with former Ports broadcaster, Zack Bayrouty. Hopefully I can give you a better answer next year.
What Is Your Career Highlight?
Calling the 2019 championship game. One of the top Diamondbacks prospects hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the 10th to break a 41-year championship drought.
What Unseen Parts Of The Job Do You Feel People Should Know About?
I have many other job responsibilities other than broadcasting and some of them have to happen during a 90-second inning break. Here is a list of things I might need to do during that break:
-Finish filling out my scorecard
-Live-tweet the game
-Check with the official scorekeeper on a play
-Help with StatCast
-Figure out which players are entering the game
What’s Your Best Story From The Road?
Despite not going on the road often, I actually have a few good stories. My favorite is after a day game in San Jose when the entire team got tickets to a San Francisco 49ers preseason game. Some things you need to know: We were taking the bus to Modesto that night and we were already checked out of the hotel. We walked the mile from the hotel to the stadium.
When I got there I remembered you can’t bring purses into a NFL stadium, but I couldn’t walk back to the hotel because all of the tickets were on one coach’s phone. I couldn’t just skip the game because then I would have to sit outside the bus alone for 3-plus hours. So, I decided to sacrifice my designer purse. I took out my wallet, keys, etc. and threw out the rest. Seeing the game with the team was worth it.
