Zac Veen Falls A Triple Shy Of Cycle

Rockies prospect Zac Veen has had a roller-coaster of a time over the past two years. He’s seen plenty of both highs and lows—including time on the injured list—and now is on the precipice of the big leagues. On Tuesday, he took another step toward that goal by going 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, three runs and an RBI for Albuquerque. The blast was Veen’s third at Triple-A and eighth overall in a season that has been limited to just 53 games.
