Twins Promote OF Walker Jenkins To High-A

Walker Jenkins’ arrival in High-A was slowed by a hamstring injury that sidelined him for two months. But even with that delay, Jenkins is headed to the Midwest League before August arrives. The Twins’ 2023 first-round pick and top prospect has hit .295/.426/.443 this year with nearly twice as many walks (36) as strikeouts (19).
