Reds Promote Rhett Lowder To Triple-A

The Reds have promoted Rhett Lowder, their 2023 first-round pick, from Double-A Chattanooga to Triple-A Louisville. Lowder made five starts at High-A Dayton before he was bumped up to Chattanooga. He struggled early in his time at Chattanooga, but he’s allowed just two runs in his last five starts, going 3-0, 0.62 with 15 hits allowed in 29 innings. He’s struck out 27 and walked seven over that stretch. Overall Lowder is 6-4, 3.86 in 102.2 innings.
