Red Sox Promote Marcelo Mayer, Roman Anthony and Kyle Teel to Triple-A

The Red Sox promoted their top three prospects to Triple-A Worcester following Double-A Portland’s game on Sunday. First reported by the Boston Globe’s Alex Speier, the Red Sox trio of prospects dubbed “the big three” all participated in this year’s Futures Game and will join the Woo-Sox on Tuesday for their home series against Lehigh Valley. The talented trio all produced strong numbers this season in Portland and rank among the top 50 prospects in the game. Once step away from joining the Red Sox major league roster, the trio is expected to finish the season with Worcester with a likely mid-2025 debut for all three.
