Rays’ Shane Baz Makes Rehab Start

Triple-A Durham righthander Shane Baz (Rays) made his first official start in nearly two years when he threw three innings against Gwinnett. Baz showed plenty of velocity–he sat at 95 mph and touched 97, but he didn’t really miss bats and he struggled with his control. Baz had a 56% strike percentage and got only two swings and misses on 39 pitches.
