Pirates Promoting Termarr Johnson To Double-A

Monday has become moving day for MiLB prospects. As the off day around the minors, it’s the perfect time for promotions. Pirates second baseman Termarr Johnson is on the move to Double-A Altoona, as first reported by Chase Ford. Johnson hit .238/.372/.385 at High-A Greensboro with 13 home runs and 20 steals in 24 attempts. Johnson has an excellent July that saw him hit .319/.443/.528, but he’s struggled again in August, hitting .203/.277/.324.
