Logan Evans Strikes Out A Career High

One of the top breakout prospects of spring training, Logan Evans enjoyed the best start of his career on Tuesday. The 6-foot-4 righthander tossed five scoreless innings for Double-A Arkansas allowing three hits and a walk while striking out eight. Evans landed 69% of his pitches for strikes and generated 10 swinging strikes and four groundball outs. Evans has a sparkling 1.86 ERA while holding hitters to a .206 batting average.
