Johnathan Rodriguez Clubs A Trio Of Homers

Guardians prospect Johnathan Rodriguez is one of the system’s most prodigious power brokers. He proved as much again on Thursday night by smashing three home runs in the Clippers’ 23-5 rout of Indianapolis. There was, however, a little bit of a catch. All of Rodriguez’s longballs came in the eighth and ninth innings, including two off of position players in the final frame. He finished the game 3-for-7 with nine RBIs and now has 10 homers on the season.
