Tigers righthander Jackson Jobe is the top pitching prospect in the minor leagues. On Thursday, he showed everyone just why he’s earned that title. Facing Double-A Reading, Jobe spun seven one-run innings with three hits, a walk and eight strikeouts on his final ledger. He came a pitch away from an immaculate inning. The outing was Jobe’s longest of the season and brought his 2024 totals to 89 strikeout in 82.2 innings.
