Coby Mayo took part in the festivities on Wednesday in Norfolk’s 26-11 rout of Charlotte. Mayo hit three balls in play at 105 mph or above including a double at 112.3 mph and a triple at 107.6 mph. Mayo is 10-for-26 to open the season with four extra base hits. While the numbers have been good, Mayo has 10 strikeouts to zero walks.
