Baseball America is accepting applications for our 2020 summer internships.
Baseball America’s interns get to work in a variety of roles throughout the summer, learning about various aspects of baseball and what goes into producing a website and magazine.
Previous interns have worked on writing/reporting, helping the prospect/draft team with coverage of baseball events and working with analytics, and several of them have gone on to work for Major League Baseball teams.
Baseball America interns receive a stipend. To be eligible, interns must receive college credit for the internship.
To apply, send an email to executive editors J.J. Cooper and Matt Eddy at jobs@baseballamerica.com with the subject line: Internship. In the email, explain why you are interested in interning for Baseball America, and what your primary focus interest is (writing/reporting, scouting or analytics). A resume is useful but is not required. If you have examples of writing, reporting or research projects you have done, feel free to include them.
The internship is designed to be completed at Baseball America’s office in Durham, N.C.
