Braves Prospect Drew Waters Enters Top 100
The touted Braves farm system gets another one.
Outfielder Drew Waters, the team’s No. 7 overall prospect, entered Baseball America’s Top 100 MLB prospects Thursday. Oakland Athletics infielder Franklin Barrett (previously No. 60) graduated from the list.
Waters, drafted in the second round of the 2017 draft, is hitting .303/.353/.513 this season with in the Florida State League. The outfielder hit nine homers and stole 20 bases through 134 games.

Atlanta now has seven prospects ranked within the top 100 in baseball. Waters is the second addition to the ranking in as many days, joining Colorado Rockies pitching prospect Peter Lambert.
