2021 New York Mets Instructional League Roster
The Mets’ instructional league roster is loaded with star power, including Top 100 Prospects Francisco Alvarez and Ronny Mauricio. Both players made BA’s High-A East Top 10 and should figure prominently in the team’s long-term future. The duo finished second and third, respectively, in the system in home runs, trailing only Mark Vientos.
It’s not a two-man show in St. Lucie, though. Outfielder Alexander Ramirez is worthy of your attention as well. The 18-year-old showed big-time tools in the Low-A Southeast and more than held his own as one of the circuit’s youngest players. Like Alvarez and Mauricio, Ramirez also placed in his league’s Top 10. The Mets’ camp is made up solely of position players, but Alvarez, Mauricio and Ramirez should make it plenty interesting.
