We are excited to present our annual International Reviews, the most comprehensive and in-depth reports on international signings available anywhere in the public space.
Our International Reviews give Baseball America subscribers access to scouting reports on 223 of the latest international signings, with a breakdown of the signing class for all 30 teams. Each club’s International Review has scouting reports on the team’s top signings, other notable players from their class and under-the-radar sleepers to watch.
Since the current 2021-22 signing period opened this year on Jan. 15, teams have now had time to bring players in to their academies for mini camps or games in some cases, with some players already in the United States for spring training and extended spring training. That extra time allows for more scouts and player development officials to watch and evaluate these players, allowing us to deliver more accurate, updated reports on players who can often change significantly over the course of 3-6 months.
The signing period remains open until Dec. 15, 2022, though teams have largely spent the majority if not all of their bonus pool space at this point, so most signings the rest of the year will be for smaller bonuses.
