2020 Detroit Tigers Instructional League Roster
A great deal of the Tigers’ top prospects are already on the team’s 40-man roster, including talented arms like Casey Mize and Tarik Skubal as well as infielders Isaac Paredes and Willi Castro and outfielder Daz Cameron. Even so, there’s plenty of talent gathered in Lakeland, Fla.
The instructional group is led by top prospect and 2020 No. 1 overall pick Spencer Torkelson and outfielder Riley Greene, who was incredibly impressive in big league spring training before the shutdown.
Five of the team’s 2020 draft picks are included in the group, with the lone exception being second-round catcher Dillon Dingler, who worked at the team’s alternate training site.
Neither of the team’s top signings from the 2019 international class—Cuban outfielder Roberto Campos and Venezuelan shortstop Manuel Sequera—are on the roster, either.
