SEE THE FULL FIRST ROUND MOCK DRAFT
Mondays’ draft is just days away. And, sticking to theme, we have a pretty good feeling about what the Detroit Tigers will do with the top pick in the 2018 MLB Draft.
After that, though, the board could break in several different ways.
Auburn right-handed pitcher Casey Mize continues to be our first player off the board and seems to be the consensus top pick in this year’s draft. From there, our experts foresee several teams within the top 10 eyeing selections willing to sign underslotted deals — a direct departure from what unfolded just a year ago in the 2017 Draft.
Check out the full first round mock draft below. Among the questions tackled: Which of the prep arms will go high in round one? Is Travis Swaggerty’s fall for real? Where will Jordyn Adams go, knowing he has an enticing two-sport commitment to North Carolina and expects to carry a sizable asking price?
