2017 Top 100 Prospects Position Rankings: Corner Outfielders
SEE ALSO: Top 100 Prospects
Andrew Benintendi is the game’s No. 1 prospect and Eloy Jimenez and Kyle Tucker are exciting potential impact players with Class A experience, but the overall depth and quality of the group is sorely lacking. Most of the core group splits evaluators over whether their skills will translate to the majors (Hunter Renfroe, Clint Frazier, Aaron Judge), followed by a mix of either raw Rookie-level players with high ceilings (Blake Rutherford, Juan Soto, Alex Kirilioff) or lower-ceiling bat-first players (Dylan Cozens, Christin Stewart and Dustin Peterson).
