Jordan put together a spectacular performance in the Cape Cod League last summer. Pitching for the prospect-rich Orleans Firebirds, he outperformed them all, as he went 6-0, 0.21 to match the league's modern ERA record set in 1996 by Eric Milton. Jordan was unable to repeat that level of success at Stetson (6-5, 3.94), though he finished the season well and helped the Hatters return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011. Jordan's spectacular summer was all the more impressive because he doesn't have overpowering stuff. His fastball sits in the upper 80s, and his changeup and curveball are both average at best. Jordan's best asset is his keen understanding of his craft. His upside is limited by his stuff, but as long as he controls the zone, he has a chance.
