Listed at 6-foot-2, 170 pounds, Muriel offers a projectable frame and intriguing raw tools. He generates good raw bat speed with his righthanded swing, but is still working to improve his approach at the plate. There's some raw power for him to tap into and he should be able to add more as he physically matures. A center fielder now, Muriel has above-average arm strength and slightly above-average speed. He is one of the youngest players in the draft, and won't turn 17 until the draft ends, giving him plenty of time to get stronger and hone his raw tools.
