For three years of college, Landon was a pitcher. But the summer before his senior year he moved to the outfield in the Prospect League. The move stuck and Landon quickly found himself better suited for hitting than pitching. Landon is an above-average runner with excellent bat speed. He hit .381/.476/.6323 as a senior with 17 steals in 21 attempts. He is a solid defender who can play all three outfield positions thanks to his above-average arm. Landon is a useful senior sign who has taken quickly to hitting but still could use some further refinement.
