View Draft Report
Keegan, a redshirt sophomore, had Tommy John surgery in 2013 is already 22-years-old because he attended Ohio Dominican and Bowling Green Firelands before he decided to give college athletics a try. Keegan has a discerning approach at the plate (29 walks to 16 strikeouts this year) and excellent bat speed, although his swing is longer than scouts would like. An athletic catcher who moves well and has an above-average arm, Keegan threw out more than 50 percent of basestealers this year and is aggressive at trying to pick runners off bags. He will need to work on game-calling and quieting his receiving hand, but Keegan has the building blocks to be a solid pro catcher.
