  Bruner has a thin build at 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds, leading scouts to dream on his projection as he gets older and stronger. He is a decent athlete with a loose arm, but his stuff just isn't there yet. His fastball sits in the 85-87 mph range and touches 88. He shows an ability to spin the ball, with flashes of an average curveball. Scouts like his makeup and mound presence. A lot of teams crosschecked him this spring, but many would like to check on him again after three years at Washington State.
