Part of the return in the December trade that sent Ian Kinsler to the Angels, Montgomery has long impressed with his feel for the game and his ability to get the most out of his somewhat modest tools. Montgomery's season was cut short by injury in early August, so the Angels sent him to the Arizona Fall League to get some more at-bats.
