A three-year starter for Northeastern, Hunt is the second Husky in this year's BA 500, ranking behind rotation-mate Aaron Civale. Hunt has a sturdy 6-foot-5 frame and has shown potential for a three-pitch mix in his arsenal. His fastball works at 91-93 early in games and usually settles in at 88-90. His best offspeed pitch is his curveball, which shows late 11-to-5 diving action when it's on, and could develop into an average pitch with improved consistency. Hunt throws a changeup that flashes late fade. He gets good extension over his front side and consistently finds his three-quarters arm slot. Hunt will have to improve his sitting velocity going forward, but he has a durable frame and a deep arsenal, so he could develop into a back-of-the-rotation starter if he figures it all out.
