2026 Top College Draft Prospects

The 2026 MLB draft is eons away, but now that we’re over halfway into the college season there is enough of a sample size to start to evaluate some of the standout true freshmen. Keep in mind that the development of this class will change significantly over the next two years, and may even look different by the end of the season as talent gets more comfortable in a collegiate environment.
Still, there’s plenty to glean. Star Georgia Tech freshman Drew Burress headlines the list following his scorching-hot start to the season. Arkansas leads all schools with four players. LSU, Stanford and Vanderbilt follow with three players each.
