A San Diego State signee, Tuck has a pro-ready body and projectable 6-foot-5, 195-pound frame that looks great getting off the bus. Tuck didn't have a great spring from scouts' point of view, and he's more enigma than toolshed. A natural righthanded hitter, he's dabbled with switch-hitting and hit exclusively from the left side on the showcase circuit; he's back to switch-hitting now and remains more natural and fluid with his righthanded swing. He doesn't get to his power consistently but has shown raw power. He's an above-average runner underway with an average arm who could throw better with better mechanics.
