Draft Prospects
Littell's athletic bloodlines include his father Jim, who played college basketball and now coaches women's basketball at Oklahoma State. Littell's older brother Jerame plays junior college baseball and is committed to Texas-Arlington. Jon Littell is slated to play baseball for the Cowboys next spring, and scouts are split on whether or not he has hit enough to be drafted high enough to keep him away from Oklahoma State. Littell is a good-but-not-great athlete having a strong spring with the bat, and teams that like him are buying his power and hitting ability as a righthanded-hitting and throwing corner outfielder. Other scouts and crosscheckers see some stiffness in the 6-foot-4, 190-pounder as well as modest defensive and running tools, and want to see him produce in college before drafting him with a top 10-round pick.
