Honahan was an athletic, projectable pitcher coming out of Colorado, and in his three years at Stony Brook he's made steady progress. He's 6-foot-2, just under 200 pounds, and lefthanded, giving him a chance to start at the next level. Honahan pitches with an average fastball, and can sometimes hit as high as 93 mph. His offspeed stuff is not overwhelming, and his performance didn't quite meet expectations this spring, as he went 7-3, 4.13 with 65 strikeouts and 35 walks in 76 innings. Honahan could be signable for the right price, but there is a realistic chance that he will end up back in the Seawolves' rotation next spring.
