The Mets signed Mora as an 18-year-old international free agent in November 2011, and he toiled in the Dominican Summer League for two seasons before making his U.S. debut in 2014 and progressing to low Class A Savannah in 2015. Mora is a quick-twitch athlete who has plus speed, solid-average range in center field and a contact-oriented hitting approach. A lefthanded batter, he goes with the pitch, doesn't strike out excessively and sprays the ball all over the field. He doesn't hit many home runs but legs out his share of doubles and triples when he gaps the ball. Mora is an aggressive baserunner, but he doesn't read pitchers well and gets thrown out too often for a player with his speed. He profiles as an extra outfielder, and he's ready for the jump to high Class A St. Lucie in 2016.
