Glenn ranks with Ben Eckels as two of the bigger sleepers from the Diamondbacks' 2012 draft. The Georgia native spent his first two college seasons at Southern California, playing in a part-time role and failing to hit better than .200 either year, before transferring to NAIA Arizona Christian for the 2012 season. The Diamondbacks selected him in the 12th round and assigned him to the Rookie-level Arizona League for his first pro season before later moving him to the more advanced Rookie-level Missoula. Despite his three years in college, Glenn is still relatively inexperienced. His strength is his plus raw power, and the in-game pop started to emerge with Missoula when he homered six times in 60 at-bats. He makes loud contact and has a good approach at the plate, often waiting for balls that he knows he can drive. Glenn profiles best as a corner outfielder, with an average arm that is sufficient for right field. He runs well but with a little rigidity before getting to top speed. Glenn will be 22 in June, so a strong spring training could put him in line for a move to low Class A South Bend.
