A physically mature, 6-foot-2, 215-pound first baseman, Genord is an interesting senior sign thanks to his big raw power. After hitting 15 home runs between his first two seasons with South Florida, Genord hit 16 during his junior season and then 13 more as a senior this spring. He managed a .333/.446/.618 slash line and walked (33) as many times as he struck out (33) for the first time in his career.
