Jensen is at his third college in four years after spending 2010 at Weatherford (Texas) JC and 2011-12 at Houston. He slumped last spring with the Cougars and transferred to NAIA power Oklahoma City after going undrafted. He started slowly with the Stars but finished strong, hitting nine of his 11 homers in the final six weeks of his season. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Jensen has average tools across the board and a chance to stick at shortstop in pro ball. A righthanded hitter, he lacks patience at the plate and probably lacks the power to profile at third base if he has to change positions. He has good instincts on the bases.
