Bertrand is an excellent performer at Notre Dame with modest stuff. The lefty was very efficient for the Fighting Irish this spring, going 10-3, 2.81 with 111 strikeouts and 21 walks in 109 innings. He works his 89-91 fastball in and out with precision and backs it with a plus slider that serves as his put away pitch. The southpaw also mixes in a changeup to both left and righthanded hitters.
