View Draft Report
Glick jumped on the radar as a high school junior when he tossed a two-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts in the second round of the 2016 CIF-Southern Section playoffs. He followed up with an impressive performance that summer at the Area Code Games, but lost his command and control entirely his senior year to the point he was dropped from the regular rotation. He did not pitch during El Toro's run to the CIF-SS Div. I championship. When right Glick intrigues as a 6-foot-2 lefty with a loose delivery, enticing evaluators more on his long-term projection than current stuff. His fastball touches 91 mph but sits in the mid-to-high 80s, and his 74-77 mph curveball flashes plus but is inconsistent. Glick is a good athlete who throws downhill with an easy delivery, making most evaluators believe he can stick as a starter, although his well below-average control gives many pause. Glick is committed to UCLA.
