View Draft Report
Roberson was trending in the right direction early in the spring. His fastball worked up to the mid-90s in February and he had shown the potential for an above-average slider. Roberson battled through arm issues all spring, and ultimately needed Tommy John surgery in late May. At his best he showed the potential for two above-average pitches, albeit with fringy command. He was seen by scouts early in the season after generating buzz during pre-season intrasquads, and he'll have some interested parties when the draft comes. He's a long term project, but the team that takes him could end up with a power reliever at a relatively low cost.
