Bullock is a North Carolina State commit with plenty of history, having pitched for USA Baseball's 15U national team in 2014 along with players such as Royce Lewis, Hunter Greene and Mark Vientos. A good athlete, Bullock has pitched off of an 89-92 mph fastball this season and struck out 112 batters in 57.2 innings in North Carolina's 2A division. He has occasionaly touched higher velocity this spring, but he has to overthrow to get there and his pitchability falls off when that is the case. When he's not overthrowing he pitches off of his average fastball well, and he has a curveball and changeup that have the potential to turn into solid pitches, although currently the curve breaks early and lacks deception. There are also questions about his ability to throw the pitch for strikes. Because of the effort it takes Bullock to get his best velocity readings and his current curveball, he doesn't project as a top-of-the rotation arm, but still has a chance to start.
