Drafted in the 13th round (378th overall) by the Texas Rangers in 2015 (signed for $100,000).

Listed at 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, Terry is solidly built and produces impressive bat speed (he accounted for two of the 10 hardest-hit balls at the WWBA World Championship last fall, according to TrackMan data). That combination creates above-average power potential. He doesn't offer much athleticism and is limited to first base defensively. If Terry, a Georgia State commit, is able to get to his power consistently against premium pitching, he'll fit the first base profile even as a righthanded hitter. But it will take a team believing in his bat to make him the first ever player drafted from Archer High.
