Sullivan is a raw, toolsy outfielder that scouts can dream on and dream big. The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder looks great in a uniform with a long, loose and lean build that exudes athleticism and portends strength gains. He ran the 60-yard dash at the East Coast Pro tryouts in 6.4 seconds last summer, then ran 6.73 at the showcase. His speed doesn't play as plus out of the box but does in center field, where his long strides cover the gaps. He made highlight defensive plays of the showcase circuit and has an above-average arm. His bat is a question. He has a quick, line-drive stroke and made a decent amount of contact on the showcase circuit, but has faced poor competition this spring and didn't see a lot of pitches to hit. He struggles recognizing breaking balls. His swing path limits his power potential to the gaps, he should show more pop as he gets stronger. Sullivan is committed to Stony Brook and could tempt a team that values athleticism and upside.
