Iskenderian began his college career at South Carolina, where he played sparingly before transferring to Indian River JC. He was drafted in the 34th round by the Cardinals a year ago, but chose to attend Miami and has fit right into the Hurricanes powerful lineup. He has a loose swing and hits line drives from gap to gap. He doesn't have much power, but runs well and knows how to steal bases. Iskederian lacks a clear defensive home and has played second base, third base and shortstop. As an everyday player, he profiles best as an offensive second baseman.
